Dr. Lea Hachigian is Senior Vice President of Corporate Strategy and Operations at Newleos Therapeutics and a Venture Partner at Longwood Fund. She has a track record of building and scaling biotechnology companies from inception through clinical development.
Dr. Hachigian has co-founded multiple biotechnology companies, including Be Biopharma, Immunitas Therapeutics (President and Board Director), TScan Therapeutics (NASDAQ: TCRX) (President and Board Director), and ImmuneID, where she also served as founding CEO. Across these roles, she has led company strategy, business development, and early organizational build-out, and has served on the boards of TScan Therapeutics, Immunitas Therapeutics, and ImmuneID.
Dr. Hachigian earned her PhD in molecular and cellular neuroscience from MIT as a National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellow and her AB from Harvard University, magna cum laude with high honors in Neurobiology. She has received multiple research fellowships and teaching awards and has been recognized for her contributions to biotechnology, including Forbes 30 Under 30 in Healthcare, The Healthcare Technology Report’s Top 25 Women Leaders in Biotechnology, and Business Insider’s Biotech Power Players.
