Josh Lubov, MBA, CPA

Chief Financial Officer

Josh Lubov is the Chief Financial Officer of Longwood Fund, where he oversees the firm’s financial and operational functions. In this role, he manages fund finance and reporting, supports investment activities, contributes to fund planning and strategy, and oversees limited partner communications, portfolio support, and liquidity management.

Josh brings more than 25 years of experience in finance and investment management. Before joining Longwood Fund, he served as CFO of Collaborative Fund, a New York City–based early-stage venture capital firm. There, he led the firm’s financial, legal, and operational functions and played a key role in scaling the platform—driving growth in team, capital commitments, and investment strategies, including the launch of new funds and business lines.

Earlier in his career, Josh spent 16 years at SoftBank, where he held multiple senior finance roles and ultimately served as U.S.-based CFO. He was closely involved in SoftBank’s investment and corporate development activities, including major transactions such as the acquisitions of Sprint and Brightstar, and investments in companies including Yahoo!, E*Trade, Zynga, SoFi, Coupang, DiDi, and Grab. He also supported SoftBank Capital and managed a multibillion-dollar portfolio of fund investments.

Josh began his career at Arthur Andersen in Boston. He is a Certified Public Accountant and holds an MBA with honors from Babson College and a BS in Business Administration from the University of Vermont.
