Arielle Jackson is the Head of Corporate Communications and Industry Engagement for Longwood Fund and President of Longwood Healthcare Leaders. Arielle joined the Longwood Fund in 2017 to spearhead Longwood’s investor relations efforts. She leads Longwood Fund's corporate communications and industry engagement with a focus on building meaningful relationships with investors, partners, and stakeholders in the biopharma industry. She played an instrumental role in institutionalizing the firm, developing a second generation investment team along with key operating roles, and raising the firm’s fifth and sixth funds which more than doubled its assets under management. Arielle co-founded and runs the industry-leading Longwood Healthcare Leaders conference series alongside Christoph Westphal, MD, PhD, convening top industry thought leaders, key executives, and government officials for quarterly off-the-record and invitation-only forums at institutions including MIT, Harvard Medical School, and Stanford. These meetings aim to foster collaboration, exchange insights, and drive biomedical advancements from the top.

Prior to Longwood, Arielle developed the life sciences events division of a leading global healthcare conference production company. Arielle began her career in non profit management and has worked or volunteered with organizations combatting hunger, driving cancer research, preserving cultural history, and rescuing animals from high-kill shelters.

Arielle has a BBA degree with high departmental honors from the Isenberg School of Management at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, completed coursework at Harvard University and Amherst College, and holds a certificate in International Relations from Mount Holyoke College/Five College Consortium. Arielle has served as an invited guest mentor for Executive Women In Bio. She is passionate about creating opportunities to advance biomedical innovation to help patients.
